Excellent House with everything we needed: Review by Lee Rowing Club

Travelled with 8 athletes who were taking part in Irish National Rowing Trials in Newry. The house worked very well for us. The pool table helped to keep the atmosphere relaxed over a very intense competitive weekend.

Home Away From Home!: Review by albertagirl

My parents, brothers and I were fortunate enough to call the Mourne Country Lodge home for 10 days. Because of the length of our trip to Northern Ireland, we wanted to stay somewhere where we could really make ourselves comfortable. This was the place!

We had plenty of room to spread out and loved that we could set our own pace here. We travelled from Canada and felt so welcome upon arrival. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious.

We loved the location of the store within walking distance of the cottage, so many wonderful reasons to make this vacation home a top choice!

Really does fit 12 people!: Review by royal mummy

Travelled to this accommodation for a weekend with 2 other families. In total there were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 children. From the minute we walked in we found the house to be perfect. Plenty of room for all of us. The playroom, toys and especially the dress up costumes were an instant hit with the kids and they all had a ball. We could not fault any aspect of the accommodation. Booking through this wonderful website was incredibly easy and the owner couldn't have been more helpful.

The Barn at Pink Cottage, Downpatrick/Crossgar > view listing

Excellent Accommodation for 2: Review by cookie

The location of the Barn at Pink Cottage is excellent ... a quiet country lane with lovely hedgerows. The Barn has been tastefully renovated mixing traditional with modern. Kitchen, bathroom and living room provide adequate space for 2.

It would be a little cramped with 4 adults. A family of 4 would be ok if the children were small (not suitable for young children). The wood burning stove is a lovely and practical feature although the Barn has very efficient central heating. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, however, as it is under the eaves there is no space to stand up. This of course is part of the charm and uniqueness of the barn. The added benefit is that they permit pets in the Barn.

Perfect for a quiet breakaway.

Cunningburn Cottages, Newtownards > view listing

The best place to stay in the Belfast area: Review by dennis

You'll not find a nicer, friendlier place to stay in Newtownards. Imagine your own townhouse built into an old stable in the country. Conveniently located near stores and petrol, my wife and I travelled throughout Northern Ireland and the coastal towns. By the second day it truely felt like home and we have never been so sad to leave as we were here. Thank you Jim and Tess (my adopted dog), we are looking forward to returning soon..

The Soda Bread Lady: Review by sodabread lady

Abundance of welcoming smiles, helping to make you feel comfortable. A home away from home. Everything at your fingertips for your convenience. Nothing overlooked.  All the cottages are very comfortably warm even hot water bottles for extra heat if you need.  Decor beautiful!  Just what I wanted to come back home to from the U.S.

This was my birthday treat!  I loved staying there and wanted to stay longer. I wanted to shovel it up with some turf and bring it back to the States! I enjoyed every evening with the turf fire going!  How awesome! Quiet, serene time to reflect and enjoy.

The countryside convenience close to Crawfordsburn village and Clandeboye on the outskirts of our seaside resort Bangor is where two of Northern Ireland's top restaurants and hotels are just two minutes away for larger family get togethers. If you want a cup of tea, scones, apple pie or great local homemade food it's only "down the lane to the end of the road" and your there!

Sodabread LadyAwesome! There's nothing that I don't like about this place and it's owners!  Just go, visit and enjoy!
