Sunnyside
Cottage is a three bedroom cottage set in
the heart of County Down a short ten minute
drive from Crossgar, Ballynahinch or
Downpatrick.
The
Cottage was renovated in 2008 to a high
standard and provides the holiday seeker
with accommodation that is modern, comfortable and relaxing.
The upstairs rooms consist
of a double room with tv and twin room, both ensuite.
Downstairs has a utility
room and WC, a kitchen for cooking with
spacious
dining. There is a good family sized
living room with adjoining games room.
There is also a single downstairs bedroom with ensuite
facilities. Shaver
point available in all ensuites. Hair dryer in
each bedroom.
Enclosed
patio area to the rear makes this
holiday home suitable for young
children. Garden
furniture and barbecue area.
Sorry no pets or smoking inside the
cottage.
Sunnyside
cottage is in a rural location, but has
easy access to shops, tourist
information, post office, restaurant and
bars, fishing, golf, a blue flag beach
at Tyrella, leisure centres, swimming
pool, cycling, sailing and water sports
as well as
horse riding (Castleward and Rowallane
National Trust).
Further
attractions nearby include Down
County Museum and Steam Railway, Quoile
Countryside centre and Delamont country
park, St Patricks Heritage Centre and

top of this page). Sunnyside
cottage has excellent access to major
road network for visiting Belfast, Lisburn or the rest of Northern Ireland.
Directions: From
Belfast, take the A24 (Ormeau-Saintfield
Road) and follow the signs for
Newcastle/Downpatrick. At the
Carryduff roundabout, take the A7
for Downpatrick. You will pass
through the village of Saintfield
and then into Crossgar. When in
Crossgar, take the road to
Ballynahinch and approx 3 miles on
your left you will see the
Drumaghlis Road. We are located ¼
of a mile on the LHS.
If you
are travelling from the south, the
quickest route is the A25 road from
Newry to Castlewellan. From
Castlewellan, head for Clough, and
then Ballynahinch. Travel through
Ballynahinch and you will see a sign
for Crossgar on your right, travel
for approx 5 miles, and you will see
the Drumaghlis Road on your right.
